The adiZero, Derrick Rose’s first signature shoe has been officially unveiled. Weighing in at just 12.9 ounces, the adiZero is the lightest basketball sneaker in the NBA.
“I am glad to call this my first shoe. It is very light, and I am going to be much faster on the court.” Derrick said about the show.
Despite its light weight, the adiZero Rose provides the stability and comfort you need by having a strong mid- and outsole, along with Rose’s signature Speedwrap ankle braces for total ankle support.
Built with top of the line technology, the shoe is also stylish enough to be worn off the court.
“D. Rose’s fashion sense played a role in the design, with its tighter fit and high end materials, plus an adaptable collar to work with and without his adidas Speedwrap ankle braces.” said adidas. “The pin line graphic was lifted from aviation. Pin lines are used to indicate the engine areas on planes, it lets you know that that area will be hot, so on adiZeros the pin line indicates where the power comes from.”
